This morning I drove around Provo looking for bright colors to take pictures of. I wanted to experiment with cross-processing, so I brought my digital and Holga cameras. I first took the picture with my digital, and then took the same picture with my Holga. I've been cross-processing my digital files in Photoshop to see something like how they'll come out from my Holga. I'll then have my Holga film cross-processed for my Color Photography class. Here are some of my digital files...I thought they looked kind of interesting so I decided to post a few!
For my fortune cookie assignment for Color Photo, I decided to use the "Great thoughts come from your heart" fortune. Do you think the concept comes across ok? I haven't turned it in yet, and this is really different than my usual style, but for some reason I decided to change it up for this assignment. Thanks Kyle and Shallan for all your help!
Yesterday I met my fellow classmate and friend's cousin, Kaylee. They invited me to join them for their photo shoot, so I decided to accept the invitation for practice. Hilary set up the lights the way she wanted, and I just took pictures when I wanted. But unfortunately my camera's battery died after only a short time, hence the limited amount of different lighting setups. Kaylee was so fun to take pictures of though!
My best friend, Heather, let me take pictures of her this weekend, and she was such a wonderful model. Isn't she so beautiful?! Thank you Heather. You're the best!
