Just missed the light

As I was driving from Provo to Pleasant Grove this afternoon, I passed by these horses and the sun was gorgeous. It was a pinkish color and it was low in the sky, and I almost crashed because it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I raced home to get my camera (I was less than a minute away from my parents' house--thank goodness), and then drove back to the spot, but the clouds had already hid the sun by the time I got back. I still thought it was beautiful, but I don't know if I'll ever see any landscape so perfect again. It was amazing to see. I guess the picture probably wouldn't have done it any justice though, so maybe it's a good thing that I can just remember how beautiful it was.

Christmas Giveaway!

Last year, one of my photo teachers did something fun for Christmas. He sent out a message saying that he would send out another message in about a week, and the first people to leave a comment with their favorite picture of his would get that picture from him for Christmas. Heather and I were the 4th and 5th who got prints, so I know how fun it is to win! This year I was feeling generous, so I decided to do the same thing. Within the week, I will blog again, saying that the first 3 people to leave a comment on Blogger with their favorite picture of mine will receive it from me for Christmas. Then, if you're not one of the first 3, still leave a comment because I will pick another 3 people at random to give prints to. Just be sure to be ready with your favorite print in mind so you can comment quickly!
